The story of MKH VisualAspect

A dream turned into reality

The contrast between these two images is ten years of experience chasing a passion in filmmaking and photography. The first five years were child's play while travelling around the world and working in remote locations.

From 2011 Matt lived in environments that would inspire him to capture his adventures while developing his storytelling skills, educating himself how the world of compositions can best tell the story and learning how the equipment functions to get the best results.

In March 2017, Matt Hoffmann decided to put his money where his mouth is and create his own production company MKH VisualAspect located in Darwin,

Northern Territory.

Completely self-taught and always with a camera in hand, his business has grown the capabilities to capture incredible content from both ground and air, developing the skills to take on any project.

Matt's hard work has paid off in the past couple of years, getting opportunities to work with companies like Discovery Channel, Tourism Australia, Entegra, Crocosaurus Cove, Spectacular Jumping Crocodiles, Rise PC, Realistic Views, Swimming Australia and many more.

So the dream most certainly became a reality.

Hard work pays off

In 2019 Matt got the opportunity to work with Discovery Channel creating a six-episode docu-series called Legends of the Wild, co-hosting with the Wildman himself, Damian Duffy.

We filmed in remote locations around the world, helping local people solve wildlife mysteries.

Legends of the Wild is currently airing in multiple countries worldwide.

It's NOT JUST A JOB. IT'S A LIFESTYLE

Filming adventures is where it all started, but capturing the wildlife, landscapes and chasing down storms have always been the instigators.

Over the past four years, Matt has tackled multiple genres gaining experience and knowledge to enhance his skill set, continuously contributing to the overall product but always returning to what he does best, and that's ADVENTURE. Travel and work go hand in hand with the MKH VisualAspect brand, no matter where the job is, we'll make it work.
